One of the ways I love to unwind or get my energy back is through drinking healthy and natural drinks and if you are not new to my blog, you should know that by now. I love drinks; liquids and semi liquids, smoothies, yoghurts, juices….I can live on drinks. This recipe was introduced to me by two lovely friends and former colleagues; Jamila and Maryam.
The thing is, I love to learn from people and I share a lot with people especially from different cultures and religions and recipe sharing is a big deal for me. For this recipe, I think we were discussing how women in the Northern part of Nigeria get themselves ready for sex and they agreed that ‘Kunun Aya’ works like yesterday. This drink, is a local and natural aphrodisiac easy to make, very cost effective and also a very healthy drink for both sexes. Interesting right? Curious me decided to try it out and here’s how I made it….Whyte’s style.
Officially done with the blending in 20 minutes and I am ready to sieve out the liquid.

Officially done. I think the one in the cup is the ‘taste portion’. This is because I need to taste the drink before serving the rest of the family. LOL. The ingredients cost me about 500 naira and time spent-30 minutes. It was definitely worth it.
You should try this delicious, natural and healthy drink and say bye bye to soda.
