WHYTE’S ADVENTURE: SEE WHAT I DID IN KADUNA

Hey Family!

Guess what? I am in Kaduna. I came in on Sunday for a series of trainings; budget tracking and monitoring and also training Faith Based Organizations on advocacy……and will also be visiting Kano. Interesting right? But anyway, I decided that even in my ill health I was going to do something different and then I got an idea….to do the traditional henna designs in Kaduna. I had always wanted to do this and so, I requested for a participant who is resident in Kaduna to get me a professional to do the magic and she did. The first question I asked was how long it would take to get the job done because I didn’t want to sit like a zombie the whole day….guess what, it just took an hour to get this done. My friends, Hauwa and Halima are going to be jealous, very jealous! lol.

Well, I wanted something very simple and elegant but I enjoyed watching her drawing and painting and it was also very ticklish. I just let her fill my legs with henna and before I knew it, my legs, feet and left hand were all done and beautified with henna.

I wonder what TY and Isy will say when they see my designs. I better start thinking of the explanations I’ll give to them. But to be sincere, I love the new look. Hopefully it will last for about three weeks.
If you are in Kaduna and you want to do this, please send a mail to me and I’ll refer you to the lady. And did I say it is affordable? Very affordable!
