Simple Nigerian Snack for Kids; Garden Eggs and Peanut Butter

Amaaazzing Grace! this is it! I tell you your kids will love this. Say bye bye to crayfish biscuit, fake cheese balls and all those yama yama things. On my way home from work yesterday, I bought some lemon, avocado pears, oranges, mangoes and garden eggs from my malam customer. My kids enjoyed the oranges and mangoes but I really wanted them to eat the green garden eggs (which aren’t tasty…the white ones are better) I had bought and so, I came up with an idea.

I cut the garden eggs in halves, I had my daughter spread the peanut butter on the vegetable and before I could say “Jack Robinson” the plate was empty……..they enjoyed every bit of it. What are you waiting for?…..snack it up!

Enjoy!
