Last week I had the flu and it was teerrriiibbble! heavy head, sore throat, catarrh, cough…..I had them all. It was not funny at all because I had planned a lot of activities and I really wanted to achieve all I had planned out.

I feel better and fully back on track. Thank God for the gift of family….I had all the help and assistance I needed all through the weekend and I felt really blessed. Momsi me gave me one of the best gifts ever and I am so lovin’ it. 

Momsi me travels a lot and one of her best gifts are over-sized full waist pants and well since I wouldn’t want to chase my husband away with those pants, I always return them with a smile “Thank you Ma”. But this time around Momsi me gave me a very colourful scarf…and it reminds me of Joseph’s coat of many colours….and also Dolly Parton’s song “coat of many colours…that my mama made for me…”.This isn’t a coat or was not made by Momsi me but I so love it. The colours are vibrant and sort of reminds me of the rainbow….God’s promises for me and my family….the fabric is subtle and soft and it feels just right. I feel warmer when I have it wrapped on my shoulders…and there’s something I feel too….secured and protected.

And so, I have decided to wear this scarf all year round, it reminds me of a lot of good things and my Momsi me. I love you so much and Thank you for this beautiful gift. I intend to pass it down generations…..so ladies, no borrowing!

And maybe the scarf helped the healing process. Heeehehe.
