I saw that picture just this morning on FB and it's so true. Nigeria does not have a good health system, and our maternal mortality rate is one of the worst in the world. Of course, the health system is part of the rot in the whole country, maybe with more funds and better management, and of course the determination by the practitioners to continue getting educated and informed, things can get better.

I love this and I love you! It's pathetic and just last week a pregnant woman almost lost her life at a General Hospital to be specific Kuje General Hospital in Abuja because there was no electricity, water and Health care providers she was referred to another health centre. How do we get things right in this part of the world? These deaths are preventable and why can't we prevent them?
