The Young Women Christain Association of Nigeria wishes to notify the general public (especially young women and girls) of its National Youth Retreat and Council Meeting billed to hold between 31stAugust, 2012 and 1st September, 2012.
The Themes for both meetings are:
National Youth Retreat; It is our World: Where is our Place?
National Council; Women in Conflict Management: Challenges and Prospects.
Both programmes will be held at the YWCA Nigeria National Headquarters, 8, Moloney Street, Lagos.The themes will be handled by renowned Civil Activists.
The YWCA also plans to hold a peaceful march to condemn Violence against women, unwanton killings of people and destruction of properties that is prevalent in our society on 31st August, 2012 and About 250-300 women and girls are expected to attend these events.
I will be attending the Programmes and will also give a presentation on young people’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights so DON’T MISS IT!!!.
