I DIDN’T KNOW I WAS PREGNANT…..

I have been watching the show “I didn’t know I was pregnant” on TLC for some months now and that show makes me so emotionally…..stupid…in tears…..sorry…..pity……I have tried severally to stop watching the show but I can’t. It’s so educative and I have learnt so many things and now I wonder……..and I am still wondering…….. I wonder how a woman would carry a baby to term and she didn’t have the slightest idea that she was pregnant, No tummy bulge, no nausea….nothing!.

One of the episodes, showed a young woman, who divorced her husband and returned home to her parents and, not noticing she was pregnant ,drank and smoked and seven months later, found herself delivering a baby in a bath tub while she was taking a bath.

It is so so funny that some women know that they are pregnant within days of conception and some other women don’t even feel anything until they are in labor. O God who created all men and women,………. how come this is possible?. I was saying to a Doctor friend some days back about how some women (those who are on family planning) would rave and rant if they don’t see their period on the expected day.

I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant reveals the astonishing stories of women who conceived and carried babies all the way to labor and delivery with no idea that they were ever pregnant.

  2. Thanks to you too. A problem shared is a problem half solved and maybe before the end of day, all my “wonders” will come to an end.

  3. Does it mean these ladies continued to see their monthly periods? Or what?

Cos a “missed” period should raise concern.

  4. Well, I agree with you.A missed period should raise concern but, some of them take birth control pills and this affects their menstrual cycle…. so they think “Oh well, if I didn't see my period, it's because I am taking pills or smoking……”, and they don't worry. And I heard some people don't experience the “normal” regular monthly cycles. Very Funny Right!.
