Hmmmmm. When such I get SMS/ BBM messages like these, I just browse through them and delete as soon as they come in to the phone, I don’t think about them twice and I wonder ‘if the person that sent it to me, read it properly before re- sending’ because they don’t make sense to me. Have you seen/ read this? I got this recently from a contact.

“This is the real broadcast from Black Berry, all rights reserved. Broadcast this message to every single contact on your BBM to reset your display picture, sorry for any inconvenience. This message is to inform all our users, that our servers have recently been really full, so we are asking for your help to fix this problem. we need our active users to resend this message to everyone on your contact list in order to confirm our active users that use Black berry messenger contacts then your message will remain inactive with the consequences of loosing all your contacts symbol will automatic update in your Black berry. When you broadcast this message, Your Black Berry will be updated within 24 hours it will have a new lay out and a new colour for chat.”

“I Know you may love watching movies but for Christ sake, don’t  get tempted. Corpus Christi is due to be released this June to August. This disgusting film is set to appear in America later this year and it depicts Jesus and his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in theatres for a while. It’s called Corpus Christi which means “The Christ Body”. It’s a revolting mockery of our lord. But we can make a difference. That’s why I am sending his mail to you, if you send this around, we may be able to prevent this film from showing in AFRICA. Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. We need a lot of prayers and a lot of emails. As a christain, I want to believe, I want to take  a stand in what I believe in and stop the mockery of Jesus Christ our saviour. At the risk of a bit of inconvenience, I am forwarding this to all I think would appreciate it. Please help us prevent such offences against our Lord. It will take you less than two minutes to pass on. Remember Jesus said ‘Deny me on earth and I will deny you  before my Father”.

1.  Black Berry hackers and viruses don’t exist. The Black Berry and iPhone are virus free technologies.
2. No dead woman will haunt or sleep with you if you don’t resend a chain. If they are dead they won’t see your chain anyway.
3. There is no phone company in the world that is going to give a poor family some money every time you broadcast a message.
4. New BBM icons do not get activated by broadcasting messages. Infact, nothing can ever be activated or deactivated by broadcasting a message.
5. The most important one! BBM is not going to shut down because guess who pays for your BBM? you do! and you can sue them if they ever do that.
6. If you love God go to church, don’t send messages to everyone! Read your bible, and God knows if you love him or not, it doesn’t take a broadcast message to prove that! …………...been waiting for this one for far too long..
