There are about 1.8 billion young people in the world today, and they make up 1/3rd of the world’s population. Every year, 14-16 million young girls aged 15-19 give birth, and pregnancy related deaths are the leading cause of death for a girl this age.

Question of the Week:

Do you think young people have a right to contraceptive information and services?, and how best can we inform young people of this right?

I believe they should ve rights to contraceptive information and services to reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancies and stds, the awareness can be created through the media and other agents of socialization.
