About
Jayne holds a Masters in Data Science in Politics and Policymaking from the University of Strathclyde, a Masters in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies and a Bachelors in Sociology and Anthropology. She is passionate about evaluating policies and programmes, and leveraging evidence-based data to create tools and products.
Jayne worked with SCUK and led the evaluation team at Mellow Parenting. She has previously managed project teams at Civil Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria, SmartHER Nigeria and spent the last 12 years as an evaluation and impact specialist providing research and evaluation services in health and social care in the third sector.
Also, Jayne works as an independent researcher, writing, and teaching (sharing knowledge and expertise) about research methods and research ethics in the UK and overseas.
Originally from Nigeria, she studied in Nigeria and UK, works in the UK, where she is is now based. She loves hiking, books, yoga, and wine.

Evaluation Analyst
I led the design of research methods, data collection tools and data analytics. Led impact evaluation of mental health programmes designed for parents and young people in Scotland, England, Turkey and Moldova. During this time, I improved evaluation efficiency by 75% through efficient data collection, analytics and data visualisation using Qualtrics, R, and Microsoft PowerBi and improved evaluation report sharing with stakeholders by 95%. While working as an evaluation analyst at Mellow Parenting UK, in addition to other job deliverables, I managed the evaluation system and framework for several parenting programs implemented in the UK, Turkey, North Macedonia, and Tajikistan. 2023-2024.
