Does it feel like Christmas? The holiday season is upon us, and who are we to disobey!
Getting out of bed these days seems like a chore. No-fuss. I just want to shop, give gifts, hugs, kisses, eat, laugh, and just be merry! There’s no better time to be less stressed over things you could not change since January than now.
November was just beautiful. I totally refused to think twice about issues that I could not handle or being around negative people. I was so unbothered. It was a gratitude-filled month. My son’s birthday (He turned 12) and my bestie’s birthday. My sweet brother, in-laws, nephew…so many loved ones celebrated their birthdays this month. I’m so blessed and grateful for having each one of them in my life.
And so, I got a full-body spa treatment (yes, I did. I got waxed and all), self-care, and I took every minute of every day in November to just be grateful. I dwelled in gratitude, and I can’t begin to describe how I feel. I feel worthy of everything I have, and I appreciate everyone who has been part of life’s story.
This December, The only challenge I can think of is just to LOVE. Show love in any way you think best. Don’t be afraid or shy to say ‘I love you to your loved ones. Communicate your love language to those who care about you to relate with you effectively. Open your hearts to receive as well as give. Love is a beautiful thing, and there’s so much love in sharing.
Talking about love language, what’s your love language?
My language is receiving gifts and acts of service…..I could die on this hill.
If you need help discovering your love language(s), let me help you. Send me an email, and we can schedule a virtual meeting. Dr Gary Chapman’s book on love languages should be your guide.
Be deliberate in love and enjoy every bit of the holidays.
Ciao!
