Hiya!
Its been an interesting month, right? The death of Chadwick Boseman, the lead actor in the film ‘Black Panther’ was the highlight of the month…..really sad one for me. It broke my heart when I saw Chad’s photos all over social media. I had a special relationship with him and all the stars of the movie because I literally made some life’s changing decisions after I watched the blockbuster movie. He was an amazing soul and did not deserve to suffer the way he did. Alas, God has him in his hands and Chad has gone to be with our Lord.

The last two weeks got me involved in an all day, full time workshop with colleagues from various part of the world. It was stressful but I had an amazing time discussing one of my favourite topics; monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning in health. It was an opportunity to reiterate my commitment in improving health and nutrition outcomes.

I am ashamed (covers face) to say I did not complete my challenge for August. I was a bit overwhelmed with deadlines that I could not do all I had planned to achieve. It was not intentional and I think it would be proper to carry the challenge over to the month of September…..I should be punished. Lol.
So this month, I will be challenging myself to do the following:
- Do a 3-day detox (any three days in the month)
- Have lunch with a friend and just laugh it out
- Do a one-minute video and talk about 3 types of foods you love to eat.
- Exercise at least 30 minutes 4 days in a week
- Eat fruits and vegetables everyday.
I would encourage you to join in the challenge and let’s have some fun.
Spread love not hate
Ciao!
