We are more than halfway gone through the month of June and I must confess that I get a bit confused about life especially with the recent happenings around the world. Weeks back, I fell ill and just wanted to be alone and get away from work, people and technology. Unfortunately, the pandemic has not made living easier and so, I am finding alternatives ways to just breathe, live and love.

I have a couple of projects I am currently working on and so this is a busy time for me. The kids are home and I am always in demand and supply mode-that’s what being a mom is all about. I can’t give up now and so, everyday in order to survive the effects of the pandemic, I have adopted strategies to live one day at a time. I am learning new stuffs, eating healthy, focusing on the now, and counting my blessings……which are quite enormous because for every second of air that I breathe, I feel blessed.

The challenge for June has been an awesome opportunity for me to learn a lot about plants and just bond with nature. I actually felt like a new mom taking care of her children. I got a number of indoor and outdoor plants and I get major inspiration from every one of them. Each one is unique, beautiful and has a special place in my heart. I am learning a lot about plants and I hope this continues even after the Pandemic.

I am so looking forward to the ‘new normal’ and that includes being able to travel again, eat a fancy restaurant and give hugs. This shall pass and we will have loads of stories to tell.

How is the pandemic affecting you? Feel free to share in the comment section. I’ll love to hear from you.
