Happy New Month and May the blessings of this month be with you and your family and may all your wishes and dreams come true. Amen!
I am fortunate to be away from my blog for weeks and come back feeling like a prodigal daughter and I still get some good loving from everyone. There is absolutely no excuse for not making out time….absolutely none but then, it’s true that time is really expensive and scarce like before you know it 2017 is over right before your very eyes….We are in March already…Phew! I definitely need more time on my clock. How about you?
Something big happened to me last weekend. My TY wrote her first common entrance to secondary school yesterday and guess the school….ding ding ding…..Regina Pacis College…my alma mater. Can you imagine that! I never did. I never thought one day that my baby would ever have anything to do with the school I graduated from 17 years ago.
It felt surreal as I watched her walk down to the exam hall confidently and alone (as parents were not allowed in) like she knew her way around the school, I felt like crying, shouting and laughing all at the same time. It was a beautiful experience I must confess.
She has really grown and I give all the glory to God because raising a girl in this time and age is not easy at all. I just think raising boys are easier…..a debate for another day.
The principal took out time to brief parents on the importance of mathematics and what prompted the need for the school to invest in a mathematics laboratory for the students.
My TY saw, wrote and conquered and hopefully when the results are out we will share the good news with everyone……just pray for us oh. She applied to three other schools and hopefully the best school will win for us as she plans to start secondary school in September.
Honestly, it is an exciting and interesting time for me as a mom. The kids are growing and we all can’t but pray they are inspired by the lives their parents, grand-parents and close family members live and leave positive footprints in these times with the fear of God.
Keep being excited for me!
Ciao!
