NURHI and CCPN have some BIG news for us!
They are pleased to present the Get It Together song by Paul ‘PSquare’ Okoye and Tiwa Savage. The Family Planning Song Get it Together by Paul ‘P Square’ Okoye and Tiwa Savage, is a creative piece of the Get it Together campaign aimed at improving the visibility of family planning and making it a social norm.
The song is accompanied by regional skits featuring big names in the entertainment industry such as Mike Ezuruonye, Ali Nuhu, Odunlade Adekola and Gordons. The Get it Together campaign has been the overarching umbrella under which the Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI) rolled out a series of innovative consumer focused activities using radio, TV and community mobilizers to promote use of modern family planning methods.
The main call to action for the Get it Together campaign is its tagline; ‘KNOW about Family Planning’, ‘TALK about Family Planning’ and ‘GO for Family Planning’. The song positions someone who uses family planning as a “Person wey sabi”, who understands that modern family planning methods are safe, available and effective, and is willing to share the correct facts about family planning.
