Hey Lovelies,
I hope you all had a great weekend. My Saturday was awesome! You know I have been to busy with work and other personal stuff going here and there….. well, I got an invite from my Mom (God bless her for ever!) to go shopping with her and her grand kids….that made my entire weekend. It was definitely fun as we chatted and shopped away all my back pain and all the headaches.
Okay, we headed to Sahad Stores; the new one at Central area close to CBN….for those of you who know Abuja. It was my first time there and MENNN it is a huge place. You know shopping is my thing and I really don’t mind being a personal shopper. Just tell me what you want and I’ll be right back. Lol
I think this is the second floor where they sell all sorts of kitchen appliances and equipment. You like the space?
And the clothing items section. Very spacious and was not too crowded at all.
Slippers and shoes for ladies. I didn’t like that they didn’t have a variety of foreign products. The kids area was too boring. No books or educational toys. But I loved the space!
Then the kids grabbed some popcorn and we headed to ……..guess where?
Yeah right! Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone! It was my first time too *closes eyes*. This time my brother decided to spoil the kids. In the store, a child was celebrating her birthday, there were kids everywhere….fun!
The sight of these flavors…. team weight watchers *close your eyes* they had all sorts and the mixers were great. Hi five!
My kids could barely finish a cup. You know for every time you get that stupid headache that refuses to go away…or anytime you get a debit alert for just no reason at all….drive down to Cold Stone take a deep breath, choose your favorite flavors, sit in a corner…..away from all the troubles of life….break ups, heart aches……and enjoy your cup of ice cream.
And then you stand up wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care and keep moving…don’t stop! Say to yourself ‘Damn! I just did it.’
And then, we got a box of pizza. It was delicious!

Piece after piece it all disappeared. I can boldly say to myself I definitely had a good weekend!
