“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Chorus
“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Shalom dear friends! I have been everywhere and I have done it all……positive things though and gratefully, I am back. I am sharing my best hymn with the world because God has been faithful……I left my blog…… social media and I am back though shamefully but I am determined to make it work because it is a very important part of me.
It’s been months and I am really excited to be back. I plan to share a few photos of some my activities in the past weeks and updates this year. Recently, I have eaten quite a lot of dishes, tried new recipes; kid friendly nutritious recipes and nutritious smoothies and I can’t wait to share some of them with you all.
Soups are a huge deal for me. I never run out of soups in my fridge. New recipes coming up!
My job has been great. I have met new people, I meet interesting knowledgeable people everyday and I am loving the experience. Getting up every morning to rush out to work isn’t usually easy for me but when I remember the millions of Nigerian women and children who are depending on me to make things work for them…….push for change, especially developmental issues as it relates to; nutrition, maternal and child health, poverty, gender violence, education , gender rights, governance……then, I don’t have a choice….the job must be done.
Recently, the Strategic Plan of Action on Nutrition was launched. Implementation at the Federal and States are expected to kick off as soon as possible. Research has shown that about 11 million Nigerian children are malnourished and we all have our individual roles to play. Education on importance of exclusive breastfeeding and nutritious complementary food for children is very important and that’s why you have my blog……sharing local nutritious recipe ideas.
And so, I am happy to post this and there’s no turning back! I love you.
