They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and don’t we just agree? Breakfast shouldn’t just be compulsory but should be nutritious, simple and fun for everyone especially for kids. In Nigeria, at least where I live, breakfasts are usually skipped or eaten late….brunch usually because we rush out of our homes trying to beat traffic or deadlines and end up having a mid day meal. And for the kids, breakfast could be a nightmare…since they have to be rushed to school, getting up from bed could be a challenge and they have to eat whatever has been placed before them as food.
Today, I am sharing an easy breakfast for kids that looks good, filled with the right nutrients and easy to put together.
The cup of beverage could be substituted with a cup of milk, the bowl of fresh chopped mangoes could be substituted with a cup of fresh orange juice and slices of toast could be substituted with fresh bread rolls. For kids, breakfast should be refreshing and nutritious and what kids should look forward to every morning.
