Child Nutrition; How to prepare rice and stew for kids

Plain Rice and Tomato Stew (9 Months+)

Ingredients (for four servings)

100g rice

250ml clean water

Cooking Directions

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Wash rice, add rice to water and bring to boil.

3. Cook for about 15 minutes and rinse with clean cold water, drain in a sieve and

4. Put to boil for another 20 minutes and serve warm.

Note: It is good to know that when preparing rice for toddlers, it is very important to make it soft for easy digestion. Remember the aim of this recipe is cooking something that the kids would love. Most of the meals here are good sources of protein, multiple vitamins and carbohydrate. Serve with vegetables.
