Pawpaw contains an enzyme that breaks down protein and so boosts digestion as well as improves indigestion. It is rich in Vitamin C and beta carotene. Pawpaw is also high in soluble fiber which is important for bowel function.

1 small fresh pawpaw
Cooking Directions
1. Cut a small pawpaw, remove black seeds and mash or blend the flesh of one half until smooth.
2. Serve in a bowl. You can also add milk or yoghurt to the puree.
