I am grateful that I am not addicted to anything but I could say I love chocolates. The milky chocolates with almonds are my favorite and I am not usually ashamed to tell friends when ever they are travelling that they should buy a bag of chocolate as a gift to me. A huge hug and a big kiss to whoever discovered chocolate and sssshhh….I heard it is also an aphrodisiac….I think so too.
Chocolate has a way of playing with your senses; it makes you more relaxed and vulnerable….I act like a baby after a bar or two of chocolate….they don’t disappoint. My kids aren’t fans of chocolate….lucky me! cos I can have a huge box to myself. They would prefer juices to chocolates and that is always fine by me because I have always thought chocolates weren’t good for kids but recently, I learnt they are not just good for them but also important ………but like they say “too much of everything is bad”.
Chocolate does the following;
Helps to build strong bones; chocolates contains calcium which is ideal for building bones.
Reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer; contains flavonoids which act as antioxidants and which also relaxes the blood pressure through the production of nitric oxide and balance certain hormones in the body.
it is also a source of quick energy; sugar is converted to glucose and fructose to provide energy.
So lovelies, just a little bit of chocolate for you and your kids will go a long way.
Enjoy!
