#iwearorangebecause of the violence in so many parts of the world; Syria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Libya, Egypt. #iwearorangebecause of the women and girls in these warring areas. They are raped, beaten and abandoned to die because they are helpless and have no one to turn to; not even the laws of the land can get them out of the hell they have found themselves in.

Today, #iwearorange because I believe no one should experience pain. Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread violations against human rights and it has to stop. You can champion this cause by wearing orange every 25th day of the month and speaking out against domestic violence.
Thank you my dearest mother for this lovely scarf. I heard Orange is the new black. I just love the colour.
