Double amputee and Paralympic gold medallist Oscar Pistorius has reportedly shot and killed his girlfriend, after mistaking her for a burglar.
South African media are reporting the incident happened at his Silver Lakes home at around 4am on Thursday morning (local time).
Captain Sarah Mcira confirmed to a South African website that Pistorius’s girlfriend was shot in the head and arm and died at the scene.
Pistorius was said to be in shock as police questioned him at the scene before his arrest.
His girlfriend’s body was removed from the house about 8.30am.
The dead woman was named in various reports as model Reeva Steenkamp.
Are you thinking what I am thinking? What sort of mistake?…..Guns, again?……why didn’t he confirm if it was a burglar or not?….why?
