International Day for The Eradication of Poverty. What does poverty mean to a Nigerian girl child?. It means no education, no sanitary pad (imagine), poor nutrition, poor clothing…it means lack of self esteem, that she may sell her body for her basic needs, have unprotected sex, be a child bride because her parents can’t afford to give her education, a young mother who may die at child birth and can’t afford to visit a health facility……it means a lot to me, you and the entire society. Today, take action help a girl get out of poverty.
