 The motorcyclist, who resided in Mowe, Ogun State, raped the minors on August 3, 2012 at 7p.m at 19, Oluwakemi St., Alapere, Ketu area of Lagos metropolis. The 45-year-old commercial motorcyclist and husband of two wives, Alabi Bakare, was sentenced to five years imprisonment for raping three minors by the Ikeja Magistrate court. Bakare was caught in the act by a co-tenant, who reported the matter to the police.
Gender violence is serious issue whether it is reported or not. A man that is not satisfied sexually with two wives, rapes 3 minors?….even if he drank an overdose of Viagra!. To be sincere 5 years is too small, imagine the pain he has inflicted on those children…torture……they will remember it for life!. I honestly think he should be put away for life. He deserves much more than five years.
